it's a...

When Lela and Stephanie were in town, I decided to schedule an ultrasound to find out our baby's gender. It was fun to have two of my best friends with David and me. Since I already have two boys, everyone is constantly assuming that I want a girl, but I can honestly say that I would be happy with either. I love being a boy mom but the idea of having a girl is fun too. So, either way. I felt good...

Within a minute of the ultrasound tech putting the wand on my belly - there was the evidence! This baby wasn't shy at all...
We are having a GIRL! I still can't believe it. It seems so crazy that I will have a daughter - a little sidekick to hang out with and dress up. I feel really blessed and can't wait to meet her! Afterward I jokingly asked David, "Are you ready for another me?" and he said, "It'll be lots of work but I'm excited." Ha! Wish us luck!

  2. Congrats on having a girl! I am a boy fan, but girls ARE very fun and you get to dress them in cute dresses and spend a lot of money on them :-) ... now i`m curious what you will name her, because i really like your boys´ names!

  11. Yay!!! Congratulations!! We have two fun, crazy, loving boys and were pleasantly surprised to find out our third child was going to be a girl. I completely adore my fellas but there is something different about having a daughter. Penny is now three and she is the heart of our family. Praying for health and happiness in your pregnancy!!

P.S...where are those cute sandals from????

    1. Thanks so much for saying this, Beth. I feel like most people tell me how hard girls are so it's refreshing and gives me hope that having a girl can be exciting... for more than the cute clothes! Ha!

Aren't those sandals cute? They're Salt Water Sandals but they don't make that color. Someone DIY dyed them this coral color, which I think is adorable!

  12. Wait a second, did I miss the "We're having baby 3 announcement!"??? CONGRATS to another baby and to the fact that it is a girl! How fun. I have two boys now, and I totally want the third to be a girl! (Not that that is in the works...cause it's not!) Fun fun fun

Sure girls are emotional, but I love my Lil side kick to paint her nails, braids her hair, chit chat about any and everything, play dress up and have tea parties with. I'm so happy for you!!. Little girls are the best!! Love my boys, but with out my Lil lady I go bonkers with a house full of boys!
