Dressing William isn't my favorite thing to do in the world. Now that he's becoming more independent and has a really strong will he definitely exerts his right to kick, writhe and generally just be a pain to put clothes on (and change diapers, for that matter). But sometimes really funny things happen. Like when he goes into my bathroom and gets out my shower cap (yes, I'm a granny) and puts it on his head and wears it around the house.
Or sometimes (I love how he's hanging his head in shame in this picture) David dresses him in horrific outfits just as we're headed out the door and I say, "absolutely not", take a picture and then put on a more fashionable ensemble.
It was his first time wearing these shoes and he was all about them. He wasn't happy with me when I changed them back for his
Saltwater Sandals. Oh well, have to look cute!
love it! He looks like a cute little chef in that top one :)
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean? Those shoes are rad! :)
ReplyDeleteNothing horrific or uncute about that second outfit whatsoever.
ReplyDeleteI should mention that I like the shoes (which is why I bought them) but just not with white knees socks and shorts!
ReplyDelete!!!! That red hair! I love him!
ReplyDeleteThat is so great. I love the charlie brown face. H is such a cutehead.
ReplyDeleteAnd no worries, i have a shower cap I use all too often... can't wash your hair every day, right?
The second picture is totally adorable--he looks just like a little boy!
ReplyDeleteI think he looks adorable in both pics :)
ReplyDeleteI too use a shower cap, and I adore Saltwater Sandals for my little guy! (Their double straps make them the only pair of shoes that fits my boy's chubby feet!)
ReplyDeleteAll three of my boys (and sometimes my girl) dress just like that second picture - what's wrong with it? Wait, don't tell me. I'm just happy they dress themselves and I don't have to fuss about it. ;o)
