cozying up the house

Around this time of year I start getting antsy for change. The weather changes from hot to cool, the clothes change from short sleeve to cardigans and sweaters and I like to change out my pillows from bright and summery to warm and cozy.

I'm not about to paint the walls or buy new drapes but with a few simple changes (and a minor hoarding problem) you can switch out your living room from cool to warm. Since I'm naturally drawn to cool colors, I don't want to go overboard on the warmer tones but I think adding some burnt reds and gold mixed with cool blues and greens looks great. I'm excited to move into the holidays!
