praying

If you read my blog then you mostly likely also read my sister-in-law's blog. In that case, you know about our awful news about Christian and Stephanie.

I'm going to be MIA for a couple of days since I've been busy taking care of the children, praying, trying to keep my mom's house clean as people come and go, reminding myself to breathe, going to the hospital, more praying and quite honestly - I just can't bring myself to post anything right now . . . other than this. Please, please, please pray with us. We believe in miracles and that's exactly what we need right now. Thank you all so far for your words of comfort, prayers and gracious offering to feed us and help out. Thank you.

For updates on Stephanie and Christian, check C Jane's blog here.

  10. I was heartened to hear that the kids are in good spirits. I have not been able to keep those children off my mind. That seriously would be the worst part, while dealing with your own emotions and grief. Thank heavens those children are doing well and sounds like you're bearing the brunt of the household duties--extra energy and endurance prayers going out to you...

  11. Hi Elizabeth. We've only met once - on Christmas Eve in 2006, I believe, but I'm Dave's cousin. I read a post on Karen's blog about the accident your brother and sister-in-law were in. I'm so sorry to hear that, but know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  15. Lizzy, I found you through the LDS blogging network that has busily passed this news. My heart is obviously broken as I love your family. You probably don't remember me but I knew you when you were much younger. I was Charity and Heidi's roommate about12+ years ago, right before Heidi got married. Charity and I were good friends from the time she went to BYU on. It takes my breath away how much you look like her. The elegance and class of your family has stayed with me forever and I'm just crushed by this turn of events. Your loved ones are in my prayers. Christian is such a great guy and always has been. I'm positive his wife is as delightful as every Nielson I've known. I'm pulling for you all. I wish there was something more I could do - but prayers are probably the best thing around.

    You all are loved.♥

  18. Elizabeth, I heard about your brother and sister-in-law and I am so sorry! I don't know if you remember but I was burned when I was 3 years old over 40% of my body so I semi know what they are in for, but I know all will be well with all the love and support they are receiving. You and your family are in our prayers!! Please let me know if you need anything!
