house tour: master bedroom

I took some pictures of our master bedroom and en suite the other day so here's my blog about the plans I have for this room. Other than the walls, we haven't done anything in here yet so it's pretty close to what it was when we moved in. Before we moved in, David scraped off the popcorn ceiling and skim coated the walls so they would be nice and smooth. Then we painted it in Benjamin Moore Green Tint (Farrow + Ball has a similar color called Borrowed Light that's also lovely). These aren't the greatest pictures since this room gets the least amount of light of the whole upstairs but hopefully you get the idea.
I have been saving my pennies for a tufted oatmeal linen bed frame that I've had my eye on for a couple of years now. I think it'll go great with the rest of my bedding and the colors in the room. We bought this vintage Drexel Heritage bedroom set when we lived in Arizona from an estate sale and it is great! We love it! I also found these awesome swing arm lamps from Home Goods and I think they are perfect with the night stands.
We have two sets of closet doors (there's another one to the left of the one pictured below). David and I each use one, though they are connected in the middle. They're not big closets and the doors are cheap bi-fold. I am excited to replace all the doors in the house, but that'll have to wait a while longer... My duvet set is from Crane & Canopy and the big body pillow is custom-made made with Tilton Fenwick fabric.
For anyone who's interested, this is the view from our bedroom onto the backyard. We plan to take down the ratty pine tree and do lots to the yard at some point but I love seeing so much green from our window.
This is the room board that I made for the room and my list of "to-do"s:

- paint walls
- black out drapes and hardware
- replace carpet
- replace baseboards
- replace closet doors
- replace bedroom door
- bed frame
- bench at end of bed
