acne be gone

All of my kids have been cursed with baby acne when they turn around a month old. It doesn't bother them, and it's one of those things that really doesn't matter in the scheme of things, but I knew there had to be something out there to help with her skin. When we were in San Diego last week I was telling my friend, Lela, about her skin and wondering if there was an essential oil that would help. Of course, she knew of something and quickly whipped up a roller bottle of lavender, melrose and Gentle Baby blend with some coconut oil. From the first time I used it on her skin, the acne started to clear up. Within three days, it was gone. I also always use it at bedtime, right after her bath, and it's so soothing and helps her to relax too. So awesome! I don't sell oils (and I'm getting absolutely nothing for saying this) but you guys - oils are the best (click here if you want to get some).
her skin before I used the oils - not a great picture but you can kind of see the redness.
I've also been curbing the baby blues/postpartum depression by rubbing grapefruit and the "Joy" blend oils on my wrists and my temples. It has really been helping and I notice an immediate improvement in my mood when I use it. It's nice having something that feels and smells good to uplift my spirits and heal my body (and my family's bodies) naturally.

Also, how cute is Loulou? I am in love with her. She wins the "best baby" award. I can't believe what a sweetheart she is. Yesterday she smiled at me for the first time while I was cooing at her. I don't know if it was a gas smile but since we were totally engaged and I was "talking" to her, I felt like it was real. There's nothing better than that first smile. It makes all the exhausting nights worth it - like she's saying thanks for all my hard work. :)
