namaste

A neighbor of mine told me that our local library has kid yoga but I had never taken Will. The other day we just happened to be checking out some books at the library when the class started so we headed in. At first William was pretty skeptical. He had just woken up from a car nap and was kind of groggy but after a few minutes of warming up to the other children, he started doing all the actions. It was so adorable and I couldn't stop snapping pictures of it.
The instructor was great. She used interesting toys and props to teach them about breathing, read a couple of books that introduced basic poses, massaged their hands with oil at the end and was really fun and interesting. By the end William was so relaxed and had a great time. I think I'm going to make this a weekly thing.

  2. We used to go to see her all of the time at our library. I am kind of sad my little girl went of to kindergarten and misses that fun activity now. Take advantage of it, it's worthwhile.

  3. How awesome is that?? I never met a yoga class I didn't love, and to have William enjoy yoga at such a young age is so cool.

  6. That is really cool! William seems very chill. I think my three year old would be running circles around the room. Were any of the other kids bouncing around? I'm always afraid to do this type of thing because my guy is just so... spirited.
