easter 2012

Our Easter was pretty low key . . . and so this post will be.

Will colored eggs in his diaper (on Saturday with David's family).
And applauded his colorful efforts.
We hid them. He found them (with an awesome slicked hairstyle).
He checked to see if there was candy inside the plastic ones. Yep.
Then, in between nursing and snuggling on Fritz, I made a lemon bundt cake with vanilla whipped cream and strawberries for Easter dinner and it was delicious.
Not pictured: We went to church and I felt so grateful for my faith in Jesus Christ and His resurrection. Also not pictured, I squeezed myself into Spanx and almost died.

  1. He is too cute. And you are amazing - caring for a newborn and making that delicious looking cake? Major points! Loved your Spanx comment. I thought it would be a good idea to try them on before going back to work after I had my son. I left empty-handed. I know everyone raves about them, but I felt like if I had to wear them for a few hours I would probably murder someone. Also... it just seemed to displace my fat up to and over the top. lol

  3. Your boys are so handsome, (can you call a baby handsome?), and your bundt is breathtaking. I can only imagine how scrumptious it was. And wow, major respect knuckles for even attempting spanx. I own a few pairs, and they've yet to make it past my thighs. I just don't have the motivation. ;)
