brinner

The first meal I made in our new house was breakfast for dinner. David doesn't love "brinner" but I had a beautiful loaf of challah bread in our fridge that was just calling my name and since challah makes the best french toast, I just had to try out this Coconut, Macadamia, Cornflake Crusted French Toast via Rookie Cookie (who doesn't blog about her adventures in food anymore - boo hoo) and it was delicious served with freshly squeezed orange juice (from our trees), a steamed egg and bacon. How do you like your bacon? I like it crispy but also just a little bit undercooked. Is that gross?

  1. i love "brinner". sometimes, it just hits the spot.

and i completely agree with you on the bacon. i like it to be crispy, but not burnt crispy...like 3 notches under burnt, if that makes any sense? probably not, but whatever...bacon rules!
