curb your enthusiasm/emotions
I put my precious William to bed tonight at my sister's house where he'll live for the next five days while we're in NYC. I didn't cry all day and I didn't cry at my sister's house after I cuddled him and laid him down with his blankee. I didn't cry when I drove back to my mom's house and I didn't cry while I ate my strawberries alone with no tiny hands begging for "more" (though swallowing was a bit difficult). So far so good!
