it was my mom's birthday a few weeks ago and, boy howdy, did she have a party! it kills me that I missed it. here's the funniest part. she totally "won a DJ" over the radio. I don't know how because my mom is of the "love the silence in the car" variety.

in any case, this is what I missed. doesn't it look like so much fun? I heard my sisters karaoked to ABBA and my deadpan brother-in-law sang "highway to the danger zone". I would have paid top dollar to see that.
