1. la grande l’orange roasted corn pizza and grilled wings
2. my cousin, erin and her husband, steve
so having dinner with erin and steve at la grande l’orange this weekend was like heaven. erin and I had such a blast chatting away about this book and other life philosophies while steve and david talked about sports, food and heaven knows what else – classic.
also classic: david finding the nearest object that makes a funny noise
and
erin looking stunning and me looking oober-tired and greasy.
and taking a gander at the cute items for sale but not purchasing anything.
fun, fun and more fun.
date night is the best.
you look darling, liz! i love your cardigan.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say I love your cardy, but it looks like someone beat me to it!
ReplyDeleteDate night is a much needed night.
ReplyDeleteWendy
Love your blog and your cute personality! Where did you get that cute cardigan?
ReplyDeleteYou and Erin think alike. So fun to see you together after all those years of not knowing each other existed... sorry about that. You both wrote about this fun date night, must have been good!
ReplyDeleteAnd you look adorable...pwhh... oober-tired and greasy... I don't think so!
to everyone that asked: I got the cardigan from nordstrom a few years ago. it's definitely a favorite of mine!!
ReplyDeleteum...you are looking extremely tasty yourself...and love the new (or maybe it's not new???) haircut. So happy that I'll get to see it & you in person next week!!!
ReplyDeleteGood times! We had so much fun with you guys! I am actually craving those wings right now! Our next date night... we should go to Pizza Bianco! I hear its pretty amazing! What do you think?
ReplyDeleteerin - YES! I've been wanting to go to Pizzeria Bianco for ages!! great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm delurking to tell you that I like that book a lot. And I love your blog and i admire your family. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at your cousin Erin's blog about your Halloween Party and saw her comment about your fabulous mac n' cheese. Can I puh-leeeese have the recipe. I have been trying to find a good recipe for it and my poor little family has suffered through some real disasters along the way. Please, save their taste buds! Thanks so much! My email is mdawn_photo@yahoo.com
ReplyDeletedg darling - my mac 'n cheese recipe is on my food blog here: www.thedishondelish.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteJust a stranger sending you love...the house must seem so quiet now without Christain and Ollie...
ReplyDeleteLiz. I am thinking about you as I read about this impending disaster. :(
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever commented on your page. I grew up in a ward with a lot of your siblings and they are great family friends(Dave and Diane, Peter and Darin, Clint and Debbie, and Alice and Jay) ...anyway, that's how I found your blog. I just wanted to say how cute your blog is and I love your style! (I am longing for your "longing for" list on the side of your blog.) I am now in a ward with your cousin Erin! Looks like you guys had such a fun night.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you have my sister Erin and her husband Steve near you! I am jealous though because I wish they were closer to us! They are amazing and I am so thankful to have them AND you as family :)
