honing sewing

One of the funnest activities at the ranch was making purses. My mom bought a bunch of great fabric and hefted up her sewing machine for my nieces to practice their sewing skills. Of course, Alice and I had to jump in on the fun.

I'll post pictures of the finished product later (they're going up on my Etsy shop soon along with more paintings, aprons, purses and a really special goody I'm excited about!)

  1. Why does everyone keep posting this ugly photo of me sticking out my tongue! (Do I really stick out my tongue? I'm sure I was just licking my dry lips.) Stop it! :P Now THAT was sticking out my tongue.

  2. I'm pretty sure this picutre is the only one to document all the fun we had sewing together while you stuck out your tongue.

Also, I'm pretty sure it wasn't dry lips. Probably a sweet little "concentration" habit. ;P

  6. Liz, thanks so much for commenting on my blog. This have nothing to do with your latest blog, but you look GREAT in that picture! From your other posts I know you've been dieting or working hard to get in shape and I think you look amazing! Help me get myself back into shape after I have my baby!
