red mill + discovery park

A few years ago, long before we knew we were moving to Seattle, we heard about Red Mill Burgers. I think it was from a show like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives or Best Thing I Ever Ate... one of those Food Network shows that David and I like to watch when we have access to cable. We are huge fans of burgers (they're my favorite food) so this place has been on our Seattle restaurant bucket list. Last week, we decided to try it out and it did not disappoint!
Maybe it's because we were both really hungry, but it may have been the best burger I've ever had. Of course, we had to get it with bacon because... well, duh. It's bacon. It was perfect bacon, too! It was just a really good, classic burger. We love specialty burgers like Burger Lounge (oh, we miss that place!) but sometimes, you just want a really yummy "diner type" burger. That was this. They have a few locations around Seattle, we just wish there was one closer to us!
David caught this picture of Will pretending to drink the ketchup. We both had a really good laugh about it. I mean, what kid doesn't love ketchup? Haha!
After dinner, we headed over to Discovery Park - another place we had heard about. We'll definitely have to go back another day because that place is huge! There was a lot to see. We only just played on the playground but it was a huge hit. There's a zipline! The kids liked it but David and I couldn't stop doing it. Ziplines are fun!
