on the fritz

I just have to share this picture of my Fritz. Dang, I love him so much. Don't mind the splotched trim in the background. We are going to replace it so we didn't even attempt to make a clean cut when we painted. Just concentrate on his little church outfit that David picked out. He was all proud of himself with the pattern mixing. :)
I haven't done an update on my kids in a little while so I thought I'd post a little bit about what my favorite three-year-old is up to lately.

- everywhere we go, people comment on his voice. I don't know what it is, but his little voice is so charming. It might be because he says things with such curiosity and enthusiasm.

- he calls all of his friends, "brothers". We have a family next door that has three boys and our boys play with them almost every day. To Fritz, they are family. He loves to include people. His cousins are "friends" too.

- he loves to help me cook. When I pull out the cutting board, it's like Pavlov's bell and Fritz comes running to put on his apron. I love that he loves to cook and I need to be better at taking the time to let him do more.

- he can turn on and off the crocodile tears pretty quick. It is a real talent! He even knows how to pull down his bottom lip into the most pitiful (and convincing) pout.

Fritz makes us so happy. David and I are always commenting on how we don't know what we would do without him in our family. He is so different from William and they both bring really unique talents and character into our family.

  1. Oh, Fritz is such a darling. He was only 1 when I saw him last...and I can hardly wait for a few more weeks when we will all be reunited!!!
