Our Easter was a nice, beautiful weekend... well, except for the horrific migraine I had all Saturday afternoon, it was lovely. :) We started with going to our neighborhood's Easter egg hunt. The kids loved it. We barely made it in time and they booked it onto the field and worked for every egg they got! Ha! Meanwhile, Louisa just looked really cute in her Easter dress.
The rest of the weekend, we spent listening to General Conference and just being together. I made a big breakfast on Easter morning and we did a little scavenger hunt for the kids to find their baskets. William lives for scavenger hunts so it was a huge hit!
We had a wonderful dinner at my brother and sister-in-law's house on Sunday. It was different than the usual ham, scalloped potatoes, rolls Easter dinner that I'm used to because my sister-in-law had a really fun idea to do lamb meatballs, tzatziki sauce, pita, Greek salad and I made avgolemeno soup and this Greek layer dip (it was righteous!). It was delicious and fun to do something outside of the traditional menu! It reminded me of one year when we had Greek Easter with my brother-in-law's parents (his mother was Greek and she did the whole thing - it was amazing!). Anyway, it was a beautiful weekend to remember the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I love Him!
Glad you enjoyed your weekend! I'd like to request a house tour, even though I'm sure it's not put together the way you want quite yet! That makes the "afters" that much better. Thanks in advance 😉
