melon berry ice pops

Summer is the best. I always dreaded the summer growing up in Arizona but now that I live somewhere with beautiful summer weather I'm all about it! I especially love the summer fruit selections since peaches and berries are my ultimate favorites. When I saw this recipe for melon berry ice pops in Everyday Food I knew I had to try it. I did and - hello! - so good, you guys! William liked it too and we enjoyed them on our patio while we watched the birds and geckos in our backyard as William splashed his toys in the paddling pool.
1 cup fresh raspberries
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup low-fat plain Greek yogurt (I like Fage best)
1/2 cataloupe, peeled, seeded and cut into large pieces (about 2 cups)

Blend raspberries and 1/3 cup sugar until smooth. Pour through a fine-mesh sieve into a 2-cup measuring cup, pressing on solids. Discard solids. Whisk in 2 Tablespoons yogurt.

Blend cantaloupe with remaining 1/3 cup sugar. Pour through a fine-mesh sieve into another measuring cup, pressing on solids. Discard solids. Whisk in 6 Tablespoons yogurt. Fix 6 popsicle molds halfway with raspberry mixture, then top with cantaloupe mixture. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze until solid.
