It was a delicious adventure and a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon! I only wish we had done it earlier in the season so we could have gone back a couple more times! I carried William around in the sling while David did all the real work. He was determined to get the best tasting, most ripe, biggest strawberries in that field and he did a really spectacular job!
As for William and I . . .
well, we mostly just walked up and down the rows . . .
eating which ever ones looked delectable (kind of like one of my very favorite children's books "Blueberries for Sal").
This picture kills me.
Adorable picture of your super cute strawberry baby face!!
ReplyDeleteI remember doing this when we lived in Oregon. My husband said they should have weighed my daughter before and after the pick... I think we got our money's worth that day.

ReplyDeleteOoh fun! My in-laws live about a mile from that field of strawberries! Can't wait to see what you whip up with these berries!
ReplyDeleteThose strawberries look delicious, but that William has them beat! How is he not completely gobbled up yet?
ReplyDeleteSome of our good friends here (the Bagley's) are about to become kin with Marcus. Small world, hu!
Speaking of weddings, will you be in AZ for Julie's wedding? Oh how I would love to see you and your darling William!
