Still pregnant. I am apparently a very comfortable, hospitable environment. I'm happy he's happy in there.
Doc offered to "strip the membranes" today. I said no.
My sisters asked the guests at my baby shower to share some advice on motherhood. Here are some of my favorites:
Just remember - it came to pass. It didn't come to stay.
Remember to smile and laugh and be silly, especially when they're being naughty.
Love is always the answer.
You are so cute!

ReplyDeleteHere is my advise. Listen to your intuition. Mother's intuition is a very real thing.

ReplyDeleteWhen I went in to have my son, I was very excited and eager to get to business, but it was kind of stop-and-go. My wonderful delivery nurse suggested during one of the "stop" periods that I take a nice shower. I said no because I felt like it was wasting time. She said to me, "Misha, this is the last uninterrupted shower you will take for a very, very long time." 5 years later, she is still right. Enjoy these final days of just-you and just-you-and-David time.
I'm glad you liked my quote! Your hair looks cute!
