Did I forget to mention how the party last weekend was? Well, it was pretty fun. It was nice to stay at a resort for free, swim at the pool and drink free virgin Pina Coladas, eat free food and drink all the Diet Coke and Gingerale we wanted while everyone else got wasted at our table. I am a fan of "free" things but not a fan of drunks. Especially trashy drunks and their drunk wives who burp at a banquet.Mostly, it was fun hanging out with my husband and loving that we really are best friends. There's no one else in the world I'd rather spend time with. I found a great dress at Ross for $20 that turned out to be really cute and I think I made a good impression on David's boss - I hope.

ReplyDeleteOh my word you look stunning! Like ABSOLUTELY stunning! Will you give me lessons on how to look put together all the time? You seem to be really good at that. And agreed that free stuff is awesome and drunks are funner from a distance. I think I would be okay with them at my table as long as I couldn't smell the wive's burps. That's where I draw the line (which is surprisingly low).
