skinny jeans

Karen asked me a little question yesterday in my last post's comments: "Do you fit into your skinny jeans yet?" Well, my dear, let me answer that question.

The answer is NO, if you are referring to the size 29 Vigoss jeans that I've been waiting to fit into for 2 years now. The answer is YES, if you are referring to the size 30 7 for all Mankind jeans that I bought last night for $29.99 (and yes, I know that 7s are a dime a dozen nowadays but whatever - they were $30!) Now don't get me wrong, I'm not done with my workout and diet routine after this. I really would like to be a size 27 (or size 4 for my Americanites) and if I keep up with what I've been doing, I think I might be able to look pretty good. I've kept off the weight I've lost and I'm slowing losing more every day - granted the .2 decrease is a little slow but it keeps me going. Yee ha!

Tomorrow night is David's cocktail/dinner/awards party at the Carefree Resort and Villas. I'm still looking for a black cocktail dress. I really, really wanted this one but the stupid Forever 21 here doesn't have it. Has anyone seen one somewhere for less than $50 that I could buy tonight?

  1. i hope you found a dress. anyway, i think it's refreshing that you have a new blog! we just need to take a new family picture so we can update that part of our blog.

This one is cute but it is short.

  3. I can't believe that you found sevens for $30 dollars, that is amazing!!! I can never seem to find them on sale!

  4. Wow Liz....you'll have to tell me what you are doing to lose weight! Sounds like you are on a roll! Great job.

  5. wow...whats your secret? i recently lost some weight myelf, but am still not down to my ideal size.
