When we moved William out of his crib at the beginning of the year I was really excited about decorating his big boy room. We had a queen size bed in the guest room (which is now Frederick's nursery) and rather than buy a toddler bed or a single bed we decided to put him in the queen. That way we could still have guests and lay down with William to read him stories at bedtime. It has worked for us perfectly. I bought a bed rail that folds under the bed but I really don't like it. It's really hard to operate so we don't use it and William has never fallen out of bed in the entire 6 months he's been sleeping there. We do usually put a pillow or two on the edge of the bed though.

ReplyDeleteI love the neutralness of it, it doesn't SCREAM child's room but definitely has whimsy :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a cool room. Where is that white book case from?!?
ReplyDeleteThe bookcase is from IKEA 3 years ago. :)
DeleteCute room! Love the color of the walls. Do you mind sharing what paint it is?
ReplyDeleteThanks Molly! It's a great color. In fact, every wall in this house is the same. However, I can't tell you what it is because we're renters and I have no idea what the previous owners painted it. Sorry I can't help!
DeleteI love your style! You are adorable.
