Then William woke up early and was cranky. I brought him to my bed to try to get some more rest and he kept stepping on my head (my least favorite thing he does). Finally, in a huff we went to get breakfast and saw the evidence of last night's soup disappointment.
The boy refused to eat anything except cottage cheese. What else is new? He has spent the last two hours throwing everything in sight and then "fake cries" about it. So I escaped and came to the computer which is when I realized that the cute video I made yesterday for my {amazing} mom's birthday did not send. My real gift to her is late so this video was kind of supposed to make up for that fact. Now I'm just the worst daughter ever. Which is a not good feeling.
But . . .
Even though this day started off rotten I am determined to make the rest of the day be a good one! I don't care what it takes especially since it's chilly today and that's my favorite kind of weather so I'm not going to waste it on a bad mood. I am going to make two or three lasagnas to freeze, make a cup of hot chocolate during William's nap, put away all my laundry and then slave away on a really exciting project that I'll share soon. Yes sir. It's going to be a good day, just you wait!
ha ooooh, I am sooooo sorry! But that soup still looks really really good! I hope you're feeling good! Just step on wills head when he steps on yours. lol I'M KIDDING i"M KIDDING!!!
ReplyDeleteDang it! I would be mad too! Left overs are the best! Hang in there. I have a feeling your day is going to end really, really good! :) Enjoy your delicious hot chocolate while he naps! (Thank goodness for nap time!!!) :)
