handsome man with beautiful eyes. |
I'm proud to say that I can call Lori a dear friend of mine. She is amazing and I love working with her, collaberating ideas with her while we talked over chicken salad and breadsticks and watching her work her magic with William. She's a mother of four boys + one little girl who is darling (and just a few weeks younger than Will) so she knew just how to handle my little boy who was in a "mood".
I knew that I wanted to have our pictures feel very personal to us and also be colorful and interesting enough that I would be happy to have them up on our walls. We considered several places here in San Diego but ultimately I decided that Balboa Park was the best fit. It's a special place for our family since it's kind of our "go-to" on a Saturday afternoon when we can't decide what we feel like doing. I love the architecture of the buildings, the beautiful trees, the hidden pathways, the sunken gardens. It's truly a gem in the city we call "home" and I love it.
It feels so exotic. And European.
I also knew that I wanted to include a couple of specific props that reflected our family. I knew that food had to be involved somewhere so I made a cake and we ate it from vintage plates on a colorful quilt on the lawn.
like father, like son. |
If you live in the San Diego vicinity, you should really consider Lori for family photos. This year she is alternating between Temecula and Fallbrook, California. If you book by October 15th, she's offering $50 off one of her mini-session fees. Lucky ducks!
Cute pictures- Your family is adorable.
