christmas 2009

we had a great christmas with david's family this year. that "greatness" may have had something to do with this little mouse who received a lot of attention.
there was a ton of "william holding" going on.
like, a lot.
there was a lot of wii super mario playing and lots of "bubble up!" screaming. (you ever played it? it's addicting.) our faces are priceless.
there were matching christmas jammies for the girls. as well as matching earrings and necklaces from a special trip to mexico.
the food is always incredible when we visit david's family. enchiladas, sopa fideo and my mother-in-law's orange rolls. we also had belgian waffles with fresh berries and vanilla bean whipped cream, cornbread stuffing with fluffy scrambled eggs, filet mignon with sauteed mushrooms and gorgonzola on top (incredible!), brussel sprouts with lemon and sauteed onions. it was all so good - it's fun having in-laws who love food as much as I do!
all in all, it was a good christmas. we are so blessed and I'm happy. life is good.

  2. Great holiday pictures!

William is such a little sweetie! My brother's family is gathering this week in IN and I'm so jealous that I won't get to hold my newest little nephew. ::sniff::

I told my mother to give him a smooch and extra cuddle from me.
